I really love getting comments.

About my chapter bits that I put up. For one thing, it helps the author to grow as a writer if people would comment on their posts, either saying I like how you are taking the characters in or I think you need to rewrite this scene better as it doesn't sound right anymore.

Some people may not like posting chapter bits up, but I do. As it helps me grow as a writer and you can never tell who will give you an idea that changes the chapter totally around for the better.

Just a heads up, I'll be posting a tidbit of the start of chapter Three of my original story Warrior Princess with two versions of the start of that chapter. I want to know which version is better for the chapter.

Thanks and have fun writing.

Last day of Winter vacation.

I spent a lovely two weeks from work, working on several of my stories, not one of my other websites got worked on during this time frame. During that time, I ended up getting sick, which I am still struggling with at the moment. I'm not sure how long I'll be working tomorrow.

I'm recording some of my VCR tapes to DVD for a friend who wants a set of some of the cartoons that I have recorded back when I only had a VCR recorder. This is going to be a late Christmas present to my friend as he likes the cartoon series that I video taped back in 1997-1998.

I know this will go beyond my bedtime of 10:30pm, but I don't mind not going to bed at my normal time of 10:30pm as this is a good thing that I'm doing for my friend as he'll love it.

Well, gotta go and make sure that I don't need to repeat an episode.

So I get to enjoy my last evening of winter vacation by watching TV.

Long time in posting anything here.

Seriously, I totally forgot about this place.

Well, several things have happened since I had posted.

In April 8th, I started a new job. It doesn't pay much but it is a stepping stone of sorts for me to get into a better paying job.
On September 5th, I got Employee of The Month and the thing was I was totally not expecting to get such an honor from them so soon after joining their employment.
In September, my 2002 Toyota Rav4 that I had named CJ, started her death spiral and by the 18th of September, she was dying and towed to the Toyota dealership in Columbia who I had hoped would fix her completely and get her back to me. But the transmission had died on her and it would have cost me over four thousand dollars to fix her up fully. But the thing is, she cost about five thousand dollars. So my dad put in a call to the dealership to see about trading her in for a newer but used Toyota Rav4. Guess what happened? NOTHING! They never called my dad to work with us in getting me a used but new Rav4 which would be in my name and my payments that I would be paying. They didn't seem to want to work with us, at all, so I had to, very sadly, give that dealership my three finger salute and look elsewhere for a vehicle.
The good thing that came out of this was the other dealership that had originally did the deal, which I think was why the other dealership really didn't want to work with my dad because it was not their deal originally. Joe Machens Toyota in Columbia, Missouri got the three fingered salute from both my dad and me for being very cold to a possible buyer of their vehicles and guess what? In my family, we are very loyal to the dealership that we deal with in getting vehicles. Well, on September 25, 2013, I became the owner of a 2002 Black ML320 Mercedes Benz, with car payments. Yes, I now own a Mercedes Benz in my name, not my father's or my mother's name but my name. Guess what will happen in 2017, when I pay the last payment to my CJ, I will trade it in for a newer vehicle. Not a Rav4, but another Mercedes Benz, as much as I love the Rav4s', Toyota's treatment of my dad and me basically soured my taste to the Rav4s'. I have become a Mercedes Benz girl now, instead of a Toyota girl.
I named her CJ, like my first vehicle, but that was under my dad's name, this vehicle is mine in name and everything else.
During a visit to my uncle in late October, we spoke about family and Herb made mention that his own son had defriended him on Facebook. His son had defriended his own father from his Facebook account. I went to my Facebook account to see if my cousin was still my friend, only to find out that he had done the same bloody thing to me! He deleted us both as friends and a mutual friend of ours was deleted as friends. I think I know why he removed us. It was because he got a new role in the high school football team - runningback coach or because he finally got his face slapped by the facts that his own father for the last several years had finally been vindicated as Henry needed supports on his feet to help him play better. Henry finally got the support and BANG, his game improved twenty-fold to where he's an awesome football player. You would think that would prompt his son to get in contact with his dad and invite him over to the house to apologize for second guessing him. But he did a stupid thing instead, he removed members of his own blood family from his Facebook page in lue of his in-laws. Well, lets just leave it at that as he missed out on a lot of things in the Brownell side of the family. He did come to the memorial for his grandfather but that was before he decided to cut ties to the Brownell clan who were on Facebook. Oh well, that's his loss. If he wants to be friends with us again, we will hold no hard feelings as blood is thicker than water to us but if he doesn't want to be friends with his blood kin, it is no skin off our noses, he made his bed and now he must sleep in it.
I've decided to remove chapters of my original stories from the internet, as I have decided to work on getting them published either by self publishing or going the traditional route through agents and publishers. I might try to get them finished during my winter vacation from work as I usually spend my evenings working on them, if I work on them during the daytime and the evenings, I might be able to get them done to where I can send them to a beta-reader to work on editing them before I start writing the one to two page synopsis of my latest work called Warrior Princess. I also have been doing chapter readings at a local coffee cafe in Lebanon, Missouri called Simplicity Coffee, Tea, and More each Friday evening, unless there is really bad weather to where they cancel it and it is usually held around 6pm or 6:30pm as I allow a small group of singers called Walenia to play before I read a chapter of my story Warrior Princess, then I sit down and do some writing on my story if the muse decided to start singing while I am there.
I also might have asthma as this past December 10th, I went to the ER with breathing problems and I mean I was gasping for air and my chest hurt from breathing. It turned out to be bronicospasms. In other words, the tubes leading to my lungs were spasming so hard it made it hard for me to even really speak.
Well, this is a very long post, something that I hope is not going to be a regular thing. I need to head for bed since tomorrow morning is the one of two days of work for me since I start my winter vacation on December 18th to December 30th.
I will do another post soon.
Possible topics - winter driving tips or what my driving rules are.
I might do them both since both are important.

Working on cookies, driving & writing.

I'm spending the day working on my writing while I am waiting for my test cookies to bake and to cool down. I had to come home early from the Farm Market as I sold out of my cookies! I had none to sell but I did take suggestions from the people who came by to bring different cookies in next weekend which they'll buy from me.

I'm working on perfecting my peanut butter chip chocolate cookie so I can bring it to sell next week and I told them about my peppermint cookie that I am working on perfecting this weekend.

I have to make at least 30 dozen cookies of each if I get them perfected by next Friday morning. Then, I'll spend all of Friday evening baking them and letting them cool down till Saturday morning about 5:30am when I start wrapping them up in pairs to sell for $2 each. I may have a tin which has an assortment of flavors for $15.

I will of course have samples for everyone to taste before they decide which cookies they want to buy.

And on this past Wednesday, I went and took my written test for my learner's permit. I flunked the first test and the second test, I passed with only two questions missed. I now can go about with learning how to drive officially. The girl who was at the office was really helpful, she told me if I had a problem with one of the questions, leave it blank and she'll help me. And she did help me to pass the second round with only two missed questions.

The first lesson for me to do is backing out of the garage safely and then driving into it and stopping without being jerking with the brakes. When that is done perfectly the next step will be driving into the pasture and dealing with how to stop without being jerky about it. I'm a bit heavy footed when pushing the brakes. I don't ease the brakes to stop, I shove my foot on it and stop the vehicle fast and hard, thus the jerky motions.

I'm currently working on one of my fanfiction stories - The day love came into my life. It is going slow right now but that's because I'm a bit unsure on how Sesshomaru would react to the information that Kagome informed him about. When I figure that out, I think everything else will start flowing smoothly.

Progress report.

My progress report is so far pretty good.

I have about eleven writing projects going on at once. Am I freaking crazy trying to do all that? Yeah, you got to be a bit twisted for this job. :)

Some of the titles of my works are done but I am rereading them to check for flaws in the storyline after not reading them for a year and some a few months.

The Storyteller's tale - vampire romance adventure story. I reread that one and realized that there was a scene missing which I have added to the story. I may end up adding more scenes to it.
Finished, needs some polishing.

Trouble with Immortals - Greek mythology story dealing with the granddaughter of Zeus and her trials to find love. This was already completed back in 1985, but when I read over it, I found that the plot I had for it ended up being rank. So I'm going to start rewriting it completely from the first page to the last in the month of November for my NaNoWriMo writing project.

Deserted Earth - a future world adventure story dealing with a plague sent by the 'Gods' of the first bloods against all humans which also included some first bloods as well. To erase the diease on the planet Earth called Humans, all of humanity is killed off or is it? One long human girl searches for other survivors only to find that those who have ablilities beyond her own survived. She finds out that the world is not dead of people - a lone first blood shows up to rock her world is she knows it as he reveals that she's not totally human after all.
Writer's block has hit this one. Rereading to see where I drifted off at.

Pharaoh's daughter - my NANO writing project. A Pharaoh's daughter is reincarnated. Why was she reborn at this time? She finds her brother with his protectors in San Fran and she starts to fall back in love with her former lover but will an old secret prevent them from regaining their lost love and save her little brother from the clutches of an evil priestess? Writer's block.

Hunter: Secret Service Agent - supernatural murder mystery. What do you get when you mix Supernatural creatures like shapeshifters and a murder mytery novel, yup, you get a very interesting mystery novel. Stalled.

Death in the family - murder mystery. The murder of the parents of three grown men now must contend with the mystery surrounding their murder. Can the grandparent's granddaughter help find the killer or will she fall to the one who killed her grandparents? Stalled.

Medusa: Tale of a Monster - Greek Mythology story. Medusa, the lovely woman
turned to monster tells Perseus how she became a monster and how she longs for
death to come to her. Will he give her what she wants the most and will he
survive to tell her side of the story?
Working on the outline - will work on it during November.

Mutants revealed - a present day story dealing with people who are mutants and that one person is determined to make people see that anyone at any age of life could become one and it is nothing they could do about it as it is in their genes.
Sort of stalled on this one.

Murder on the track - murder mystery on a racehorse track. Who killed the jockey and the horse in the middle of a big race shown to millions? Stalled.

The Dragon, The Rose and the Realm of Magic - fantasy romance. A young sorceress hides the truth of being a princess from a young man she saved from a dragon in the Forest of Magic, unaware that the young man is a prince, one with whom she was to meet the following day. Both have fallen for each other not knowing that they were to meet. He, later find out the truth on their wedding day and is shocked when he learns that the sorceress who he had fallen for was in fact the princess before she flees into the realm of magic in tears and to protect herself from being slain by the prince's magic hating step mother.
Finished, but needs polishing.

Birth of Dragons - space adventure collabaration between me and my best friend.
A small military guard of an imperial house is led by a Saurian commander named Ebon but also known as The Dragon. Those who served under him were later known as Ebon's Dragons. Watch as Ebon grow from being a servant to a military commander leading his ladies into battle. Stalled.

And my website that I am working on for the stories is getting closer to being put online officially. I will post more about that later.

That's all of my projects that I'm working on right now.
